Boasting a National Pavilion at the Art Biennale for the first time, Uganda presents a dialogue between two artists from Kampala. Acaye Kerunen is a young socially engaged person who emphasises the local and regional craft activities of Ugandan women, recognising the value of their work in the climate ecosystem. Collin Sekajugo’s aesthetic approach is different, laying bare some truths behind conventional images of African culture.
The exhibition “Radiance: They Dream in Time” is hosted in the spaces of Palazzo Palumbo Fossati.
