Around forty works, some of which have never been exhibited before, have been brought together in the new solo exhibition of British artist Tony Cragg inside Murano Glass Museum.

The exhibition retraces the most significant stages of his career, starting with his assemblages, large-scale historical works in which small groups of objects are juxtaposed and superimposed. It is from his famous assemblages that Cragg defines his artistic imprint, testing himself even with glass. It is no coincidence then that his exhibition is called “Silicon Dioxide”, since it is precisely from this material that glass is made, and which contains within itself also the creative spark ready to express itself as a new work of art.
