Businessman and entrepreneur Luigi Brugnaro has been Mayor of Venice since June 2015. Beside being president of Umana Holding (300 millions of revenue), he is also member of the Board of Directors for the Italian employers’ federation and national chamber of commerce, Confindustria.
He is the former president of the main basketball club of Venice Reyer Venezia Mestre (top basketball league), former president of Confindustria Venezia, former Expo deputy for the Veneto region (2015), and president of Assolavoro.
