Located on the third floor of the Teatro La Fenice Opera House, a permanent photographic exhibition is dedicated to the divine opera star Maria Callas and includes pictures that portray her over seven Venetian seasons. Archive photos, manuscripts and images serve as an important testimony to the artistic career of one of opera’s most legendary performers, highlighting her close relationship with both the city and its theatre, because it was here that she made her first Italian debut which marked the turning point in her career.
