Among the many traditional Venetian events, a particular spot is reserved for the Festa della Sensa – a feast of the Republic of Venice held in occasion of the Ascension ( or “Sensa” in Venetian dialect). During these days of celebrations discover the history of the Serenissima, as well as its deep bond with the sea and the tradition of Venetian rowing (“Voga alla veneziana“).
